♥ Oh, Canada
I think that this spur of the moment decision to go to Montreal could not have gone any better than it has. We left Saturday morning at 5 and I came home Monday at 11...
It was so much fun, the drive up was hilarious in its entire 8 hours. I love fucking with people that follow me when I'm driving. I decided it would be fun to switch lanes and weave through the empty road with Boy 1 and Boy 2 following behind us. It was funny considering we were to be on the same road for 200 miles so they didn't HAVE to switch lanes the same time we did. Everyone developed a weak bladder and the gas station bathroom was indeed something hilarious with wonderful reading material on the walls. One visit to Denny's, One bottle of Lemonade Tea, 3 Half eaten banana-nut muffins, Cheez-its, and ghetto-licious sandwiches later, we were in Canada. Crossing the border was terrifying as it was my first time doing it by myself. I was clutching onto Samsen, I hate being interrogated, I can't even order food at a counter. Canadia did not have a pleasing first impression since there was nothing but foot-tall piles of snow and construction. We got super lost because TOMTOM messed up. Darn you, TOMTOM. we lost Boy 1 and 2 and went on to find our fantastic and cheap hotel. The hotel was gorgeous and super well priced so pourqoui pas? The boys finally got to the hotel. Took a trip to McDonald's next door...spilled a coke. We were supposed to travel to the music festival but my pants ripped and I freaked out about being "fat" so I started crying then everyone decided to stay and get drunk in the hotel. Which we did.
Following day, we went to the mall to buy me clothes to wear since i had only sweatpants. Lovely mall. Boys loaded up on alcohol. Mind you, total tangent, but all I have to say is: super cute but super annoying much? anyways, Decided to head to Vieux-Montreal, sadly we couldn't find metro parking so we split up from Boy 1 and 2, went an hour and a half in the wrong direction, hopelessly confused an innocent DQ worker, found the boys 3 hours later, amidst a Police Brutality Riot. It was insane...commando's everywhere. Boys with green hair handcuffed to poles. I loved it.
Went to an art gallery today. Boy 1 and Boy 2 got detained at the border for alcohol possesion. Our car got searched and when asked if we had citrus, we replied no, forgetting about the two oranges we had in the trunk. Canadian Official was not pleased. "Did I not ask about oranges?!" he said. Needless to say, we got away without much more interrogation.
To end: I was pissed at you. you blew up a bit but only at me for no reason. I was not even talking to you and did not appreciate it. Chasing -------- will not make it better. Leaving me in the dark. Not cool. And you need to lay the &%$# off because not everything requires a translation or an interpretation. Take it in stride, big guy. No flipping out or showing off your wits is necessary
"I'm coming home , I'm coming home
Did you take off when I was gone?
I missed it all, I messed you up, I missed you"
